My name is Jane van Pelt and I have taken many photos over the years of the most precious thing in my life...my family. After our four kids grew up and left home, I began to seek photographic pleasure in recording the rest of the world around me. Even though I love to travel, I believe there really is, "no place like home." Documenting the rural, rustic landscape, historical and creative architecture and diverse population in Waterloo Region has brought me pure joy. I have been privileged to show and sell my work in various venues throughout the city, as well as in local print publications. Encouraged by the response to my photography, the only thing that brings me more pleasure than creating the photos, is sharing them, and the beauty all around us, with others.
